Wale is a Nigerian writer-director based in the United Kingdom. His award-winning short films have screened at over 20 Academy Award, BAFTA, and BIFA qualifying festivals, including Palm Springs ShortFest, Holly Shorts London, Africa International Film Festival, and Seattle Black Film Festival.

His latest short film stars BAFTA-nominated actor Cyril Nri. Across his work, Wale tells intimate, character-driven stories that explore family and the impact of emotional inheritance. In addition to directing, he is also a co-founder of TNC Africa, an online community empowering the next generation of African filmmakers.
